LED lamps for plant growth

To be able to grow, plants require an optimum light spectrum with different wave lengths; this is dependent of the growth stage of each individual plant.  This can be reached by use of LED lamps that can be adapted to requirements of individual plant species.


Characteristic features of LED lamps are their long-term service life and capability to save electricity; they can also be used within all stages of the plant growth. In this field we cooperate with the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Palackı University in Olomouc where the scientists investigate problems concerning cultivation of plants and detection of their physical requirements and condition. Basing on this cooperation, it will be possible to measure both quality and quantity of light conditions existing in a certain locality as well as the light spectrum and contents of chlorophyll. This means that basing on these data we will be able to offer to our clients solutions tailored in accordance with their needs.
LED Grow Lamps can be used in glasshouses, island systems and interiors.

Effects of different spectra parts on the growth of plants

 Red
stimulates elongation growth of stems and petioles, enlarges leaves on the one side and reduces the content of chlorophyll on the other
 Bluestimulates horizontal  growth,  increases the density of  stems and petioles, increases  the content of chlorophyll and improves the density of leaf stomata
 Orangestimulates gremination and elongation growth
 Greenstimulates production of oxygen in the course of photosynthesis
 Violetincreases the density of leaves, inhibits the elongation of stems and leaves, contributes to the synthesis of anthocyanins
 Infrared
 720 - 760nm
accelerates photosynthesis, promotes the elongation growth of cells, shows an im portant effect on flowers and germination of seeds
 Whitein combination with other spectra complements special spectra
 RB increases the content of soluble proteins, increases the rate of photosynthesis in leaves, balances distribution of sugars, carbon and nitrogen in leaves, crowns and roots
 RBG increases the total starch conent
 Orange or        yellowincreases the content of sucrose, stimulates syntheis of saccharides
